Eight in 8

Kirsten Davies is a nutritionist and founder of The Food Remedy. She combines her nutritional knowledge with mindfulness, helping clients understand the link between the food they eat and the thoughts they think. Real, whole food is her mantra, which, teamed with her burning passion to help others see their own light, makes her compellingly magnetic.

It is my mission is to enable entrepreneurs.

For me it is all about inspiring as many people as possible to listen to their gut and follow their intuition!!
So, I’m asking people who I think are great to answer my 8 in 8
– Eight quick fire questions, in eight minutes, not too much thinking – straight from their hearts.

Be sure to check back each week for a little more quick fire inspiration, I update them every other Friday… (why not sign up to my mailing list to make sure you don’t miss out?)

The Food Remedy1. What does being an Entrepreneur mean to you?
To be honest I don’t see myself as an entrepreneur. I never set out to do this, it was just a natural path to take. I find food so so interesting and our mindset about our health and body image beyond powerful. I love that fact that I am able to help people improve their self esteem, confidence and ultimately their health.

2. What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was very young I wanted to be an astronaut! I used to tell everyone I had a spaceship that was kept in a garage by my local post office!!

3. When did you decide to be self employed?
When I realised that there was no other option.

4. Who inspires you?
So many people inspire me daily, however my nan was one of my biggest inspirations. Sadly she past away last year but she was such a fun loving, kind, happy lady; everyone loved her she never ever complained. She always used to look for the best and she always used to say there is no point in being miserable and she was so right.

5. What is non negotiable in your schedule?
I make sure that I eat regularly, no longer than 4 hours without food. I make sure I spend at least 30 minutes outside somewhere peaceful like a park or at the beach.

6. What makes you feel ARGH!?
Invoicing and doing the books! It literally makes me want to cry! I hate it!!

7. What do you do that helps you to feel more AHHH!?
Being around the people I love, or in the company of animals or children.

8. What would you like your epitaph to read?
Kirsten knew how to love life and had a natural way about her that made people feel really good about themselves understood and loved.
