Altar Goddess – Miniature Paleolithic Goddess

£6.00

Pocket sized Altar Goddesses based on the ‘Venus of Willendorf’, an artefact found in Willendorf, Austria, and dating to the Paleolithic era (c. 28000 BC).  Each Venus is approximately 50mm tall and is unique and individual, and I will chose one especially for you when you order.  I will bless each one and anoint it with water collected on a full or new moon in Glastonbury from the red spring.

These beautiful goddesses are handmade by a father and daughter team from Northumberland, UK. The pair produce a wonderful array of museum quality pottery replicas. Sarah Lord Taylor tells me, “We have a deep respect for ancient craftspeople, and replicate all of our pieces one finger impressing at a time, using authentic tools and techniques.”
