Altar Goddesses based on the ‘Venus of Willendorf’, an artefact found in Willendorf, Austria, and dating to the Paleolithic era (c. 28000 BC). Each Venus is unique and individual, and I will chose one especially for you when you order. I will bless each one and anoint it with water collected on a full or new moon in Glastonbury from the red spring.
These beautiful goddesses are handmade by a father and daughter team from Northumberland, UK. The pair produce a wonderful array of museum quality pottery replicas. Sarah Lord Taylor tells me, “We have a deep respect for ancient craftspeople, and replicate all of our pieces one finger impressing at a time, using authentic tools and techniques.”
