It is my mission is to enable entrepreneurs.
For me it is all about inspiring as many people as possible to listen to their gut and follow their intuition!!
So, I’m asking people who I think are great to answer my 8 in 8
– Eight quick fire questions, in eight minutes, not too much thinking – straight from their hearts.
Be sure to check back each week for a little more quick fire inspiration, I update them each Monday… (why not sign up to my mailing list to make sure you don’t miss out?)
1, 2, 3 GO!
1. What does being an Entrepreneur mean to you?
Being an entrepreneur to me, means to be able to live out your dreams and ideas with ideally an income and an end goal.
2. What did you want to be when you grew up?
I never really knew what I wanted to be, I wasn’t one of those children that always had their heart set on one thing. I’m a jack of all trades, a master of none so everything interested me when I was young.
3.When did you decide to be self employed?
After a constant string of positions where I was treated unequally, I decided I wanted to work and live on my own terms.
4.Who inspires you?
I’m inspired more so by ideas than people, I find tumblr very inspiring as well as most of the Great British Bake off contestants!
5.What is non negotiable in your schedule?
I’m fairly laid back in my schedule due to my organisational skills. I try to organise my day a few days in advance, I find this gives me more freedom in my schedule.
6. What do you do to combat feelings of ARGH!?
TEA! No really, when it all gets a bit too much I take a step back and have a 5 minute tea break. Even when I’m insanely busy, you need those moments to step back and make sure you are working to the best of your ability and thinking clearly.
7. What do you do that helps you to feel more AHHH!?
Try to maintain a social life. It’s very hard when you start a business to not become addicted to spending all of your time working. You need to take breaks and socialise and do things for yourself, otherwise you can drive yourself mad.
8. What would you like your epitaph to read?
Touching upon the idea that I was loyal and hard working? I’ve never given it much thought!
